About The Position

Husson University is seeking adjunct faculty to teach online photography courses. This is a part-time position for a 90-day posting period to establish a pool of qualified candidates for future online teaching or course development opportunities. Teaching and course development assignments are dependent upon student enrollment, program needs, course scheduling, and institutional priorities.

Requirements

  • An earned terminal degree in the discipline or a related field; doctoral degree preferred.
  • Successful online teaching experience at the college level preferred.
  • Demonstrated dedication to improving classroom teaching, exploring new methods, and adapting to student needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well as a part of a team.

Benefits

  • Compensation is based on academic credentials, course assignment and course enrollment.
  • Undergraduate Courses Master's Prepared: Up to $933.33 per credit hour
  • Undergraduate Courses Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared: Up to $1,016.67 per credit hour
  • Graduate Courses Master's Prepared: Up to $1,016.67 per credit hour
  • Graduate Courses Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared: Up to $1,100.00 per credit hour
  • Compensation is dependent upon the number of students enrolled in the assigned course.
