About The Position

Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is seeking an Adjunct Nursing Instructor to teach and supervise nursing students in classroom and/or clinical settings. This role contributes to the professional development of nursing students and involves creating a conducive learning environment, assisting students in their growth as nurses, implementing effective evaluation strategies, applying clinical expertise, operationalizing the curriculum, and demonstrating strong interpersonal and inter-professional communication skills. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree Nursing and Master’s Degree Nursing (or actively enrolled) in ACEN/NLNAC or CCNE accredited program.
• 3 years Teaching in a classroom or clinical setting.
• Demonstrates integrity, stability, imagination, and discriminative judgment in instruction of nursing students.
• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrates interest and respect for students.
• Demonstrates commitment to life-long learning.
• Demonstrates respect, collegiality, professionalism, and caring in relations with administration, staff, colleagues, and students.
• Knowledge of FERPA.
• RN - Licensed Registered Nurse_PA - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire

Nice To Haves

• Master’s Degree or Doctorate
• CNE - Certified Nurse Educator
• NLN - State of Pennsylvania within 180 Days
