Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree Nursing and Master’s Degree Nursing (or actively enrolled) in ACEN/NLNAC or CCNE accredited program.
3 years Teaching in a classroom or clinical setting.
Demonstrates integrity, stability, imagination, and discriminative judgment in instruction of nursing students.
Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Demonstrates interest and respect for students.
Demonstrates commitment to life-long learning.
Demonstrates respect, collegiality, professionalism, and caring in relations with administration, staff, colleagues, and students.
Knowledge of FERPA.
RN - Licensed Registered Nurse_PA - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire

Nice To Haves

Master’s Degree or Doctorate
CNE - Certified Nurse Educator
NLN - State of Pennsylvania within 180 Days

Responsibilities

Operationalizes the curriculum in order to prepare graduates to function effectively in the health care environment.
Demonstrates effective interpersonal communication and collaborative inter-professional relationships.
