About The Position

The School of Information Sciences at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is seeking adjunct faculty to teach graduate and undergraduate courses across various programs, including MS in Library and Information Science, MS in Information Management, BS in Information Science, MS in Game Development, and Minors in Informatics and Game Studies & Design. Requirements

For Adjunct Lecturer title: MS/MA or PhD in Information Sciences, Information Technology, Library and Information Science, Computer Science, Design, Art, Media or related fields.
Teaching experience at advanced levels.
For an Adjunct Instructor title (Informatics courses only): Bachelor’s in Information Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Science, Design, Art, Media or a related field.
Significant industry experience (for Adjunct Instructor title).

Nice To Haves

Academic training and/or work experience in needed curricular areas.
Relevant service in professional organizations (where applicable).

Responsibilities

Teach graduate and undergraduate courses in areas supporting the MS in Library and Information Science, MS in Information Management, BS in Information Science, MS in Game Development, and Minors in Informatics and Game Studies & Design.
Teach on campus for 200 & 300 level courses.
