Adjunct Music Instructor
About The Position
Oakland Community College (OCC) is a multi-campus institution in Oakland County, Michigan, dedicated to providing accessible and affordable quality learning opportunities. As one of the largest community colleges in Michigan, OCC serves over 12,000 students. OCC is seeking Adjunct Faculty Instructors who are committed to diversity, shared responsibility, open communication, personal empowerment, integrity, and ethical conduct. Adjunct Faculty are expected to utilize modern technology in the classroom. Applications are accepted continuously for a candidate pool, and instructors are hired on an as-needed basis throughout the academic year based on enrollment. When a need arises, candidates from the pool are reviewed, and the Department will contact selected individuals directly. Candidates without legal residence in Michigan will be employed through Edustaff, with employment offers, salary, and benefits provided by Edustaff, not OCC. Requirements
- Master's degree in Music OR Bachelor's degree in Music and 5 years of experience OR Associate's degree in Music and 8 years of experience.
- Commitment to using modern technology in the classroom.

- Ability to work as a team player in a multi-cultural working environment.
- Online teaching experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach anticipated day and/or evening Music courses, ranging from basic to advanced skill levels.
- Maintain and/or provide licensure and certifications where applicable.
