Adjunct Music Instructor Positions
About The Position
Covenant Christian Academy is seeking qualified professionals to teach music lessons during and/or after school hours as part of our music lesson program. The candidate for this position should hold or be working towards a Bachelor’s degree in music and have had experience teaching music in their area of expertise. The candidate will possess competency to engage in our distinctly Christian and classical model with a passion for teaching music in a variety of approaches, styles, and formats. We are especially looking for candidates willing to commit to two years or more of teaching in order to maintain stability and consistency in the program. The following positions are being sought: Violin, Grammar School and Upper School String Ensemble Instructor.
Requirements
- Hold or be working towards a Bachelor’s degree in music.
- Experience teaching music in their area of expertise.
- Competency to engage in a Christian and classical model.
- Passion for teaching music in a variety of approaches, styles, and formats.
- Willingness to commit to two years or more of teaching.
- Be at school at least one to two days per week, potentially more depending on student interest.
Responsibilities
- Teach music lessons during and/or after school hours.
- Teach Violin.
- Instruct Grammar School and Upper School String Ensemble.
