Oakland Community College (OCC) is a student-centered community college in Oakland County, Michigan, dedicated to providing accessible and affordable quality learning opportunities. As one of the largest community colleges in Michigan, OCC serves over 12,000 students across multiple campuses. OCC is seeking Adjunct Faculty Instructors who are committed to diversity, shared responsibility, open communication, personal empowerment, integrity, and ethical conduct. A key requirement for adjunct faculty is the commitment to utilizing modern technology in the classroom. Applications for adjunct positions are accepted continuously and maintained in a candidate pool. Adjunct Instructors are hired on an as-needed basis throughout the academic year, contingent upon enrollment demands. When a need arises, candidates from the pool are reviewed, and the Department will contact them directly. Candidates without legal residency in Michigan will be employed through Edustaff, with employment offers, salary, and benefits managed by Edustaff, not OCC. To be considered, applicants must attach a resume, cover letter, unofficial transcripts (indicating degree conferral date), and any relevant licenses/certifications to their online application. Official transcripts (sent directly from institution to institution) are required within 30 days of hire.
