About The Position
The Dance Department at Barnard College seeks a part-time instructor to teach the following undergraduate course during the 2026-2027 academic year. Fall 2026 Semester DNCE BC3607 Rehearsal and Performance: Instruct students in the creation and rehearsal of a new dance culminating in a performance in a fully produced concert.
Requirements
- An advanced degree in Dance or a related discipline or the equivalent professional experience.

- Statement of interest (including teaching philosophy, most relevant prior teaching experience, advanced pedagogical or relevant training)
Responsibilities
- Instruct students in the creation and rehearsal of a new dance culminating in a performance in a fully produced concert.
- Exact instructional assignments and other academic responsibilities are determined by the Chair.
