About The Position

The Chemistry Department at Barnard College seeks a part-time instructor to teach undergraduate courses during the 2026-2027 academic year. The specific course assignment for Fall 2026 is CHEM BC2012, General Chemistry Lab, held on Fridays from 8:10 AM to 11:30 AM. Weekly office hours will be scheduled in coordination with the General Chemistry Laboratory Director. • Terminal degree in a related discipline, with all requirements for the degree completed by the time of hiring offer.

• Identify three references, including one with direct knowledge of their teaching capabilities (for finalists).

Responsibilities
