The Thomas R. Kline School of Law at Drexel University, founded in 2006, offers an ABA-accredited Juris Doctor (J.D.) program in law, along with other graduate law programs. This position is specifically for the Kline Law J.D. program. The adjunct faculty member is tasked with upholding the mission of the Kline School of Law by employing diverse strategies to encourage student learning and discussions. They will be responsible for evaluating student work, providing feedback on progress towards course learning objectives, and creating a syllabus in line with University guidelines. Additionally, the role involves teaching the assigned course section, being accessible to students (e.g., responding to emails), maintaining accurate records for grading, submitting grades according to University policy, and fulfilling any other course-related duties assigned by the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs or concentration director. Teaching responsibilities may include days, evenings, and nights, with options for in-person only, online only, or a blended format.
