Adjunct Instructors - Media Production
About The Position
St. Norbert College is accepting applications for instructors qualified to teach a Media Production course. This pool will be utilized on an as-needed basis. The course covers core concepts and principles, planning, digital skills, and distribution. As staffing needs arise, the dean of arts and sciences will review the pool and contact applicants for interviews. Adjunct faculty may also be needed to fill last-minute voids. Applicants who meet the minimum requirements are not automatically accepted, and it may take time to hear back as this is for a pool of applicants. If a dean or coordinator has already reached out, continue with the application process to confirm interest.
Requirements
- MA degree in Communication or a related field.
- At least five years of professional experience in the field with demonstrated currency in the field at the time of appointment (work experience, publications, licensure, presentations, or equivalent within the last five years).
- Individuals who teach at the undergraduate level will typically hold a master's or higher in the discipline or subfield in which they teach.
Nice To Haves
- PhD.
- Experience teaching students at the undergraduate level.
Responsibilities

- Fill in as an adjunct faculty member to fill a last-minute void if needed.
