About The Position

St. Norbert College (SNC) is accepting applications for instructors qualified to teach in the calculus sequence (calculus 1, calculus 2, or multivariable calculus). This is a continuing applicant pool, and applications will remain active for up to two years. The dean of arts and sciences will review applications as staffing needs arise and contact interested candidates for interviews. Adjunct faculty may also be needed for last-minute coverage. The college seeks individuals who will embrace its mission and commitment to building a vibrant, diverse, and spiritually engaged community.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Mathematics (PhD or ABD preferred).
  • Experience teaching students at the undergraduate level.
  • At least five years of professional experience in the field with demonstrated currency in the field at the time of appointment (work experience, publications, licensure, presentations, or equivalent within the last five years).
  • Submit a current curriculum vitae.
  • Submit an introductory cover letter.
  • Submit evidence of teaching effectiveness.

Nice To Haves

  • PhD or ABD in Mathematics.

Responsibilities

  • Teach calculus 1, calculus 2, or multivariable calculus at the undergraduate level.
  • Fill last-minute voids in instruction as needed.
  • Maintain currency in the field through professional experience, publications, licensure, presentations, or equivalent within the last five years.
