About The Position
The University of Arkansas Pulaski Technical College is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member for the Math department. This position may involve teaching on-campus at multiple campuses, as well as live streaming, webinar, and online courses. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of the teaching field, a commitment to high academic standards, a dedication to student success, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- Master’s degree
- A minimum of 18 graduate level credit hours in discipline

- Community college experience with a diverse student body
Responsibilities
- Development of course materials, assignments and assessment of student learning outcomes within the structure of the course
- Management of blackboard LMS and online learning environments, such as MyLabs or WebAssign
- Management of accurate student records and timely submission of syllabuses, roster certifications, and grades.
- Commitment to follow institutional and department policies regarding all course and college procedures
- Ability to establish and maintain positive, collaborative working relationships with students, colleagues and staff, including timely communication replies
- Ability and willingness to use contemporary educational techniques and technologies
