About The Position
Adjunct instructor of Biology and Chemistry courses and labs. Ensures a quality learning environment for all students, and plans, organizes, implements, and assesses academic experiences as assigned within the vision, mission, values, and learning domains of the College.
Requirements
- Master's Degree: Biology (Required)
- Master's Degree: Chemistry
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction to students as delineated by course curriculum.
- Evaluate student performance in accordance with the course requirements and provide appropriate feedback to students in a timely manner.
- Respond to and evaluate student learning by appropriate means.
- Grade papers, tests, projects and other assignments in a timely manner and gives appropriate feedback to students.
- Submit grades to the Registrar at midterm and at the completion of the course.
- Participate in the annual College adjunct self-reflection and evaluation process.
- Effectively deliver required course content in learning management software.
