About The Position
The Department of History at West Virginia University is seeking applications for Part-time Adjunct Teaching Positions. The need for specific courses will be determined by the department. The selected candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, which may be delivered in-person or online. Applications are accepted year-round and reviewed as openings become available. Compensation is determined on a per-course basis.
Requirements
- Master's or doctoral degree in History or a closely related discipline.
- Evidence of effective teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level.
- Doctoral degree holders are eligible to teach graduate or undergraduate courses.
- Master's degree holders are eligible to teach undergraduate courses.
Responsibilities
- Teach in-person or online courses in the Department of History’s undergraduate and graduate programs.
