Adjunct Instructor - Respiratory Therapy Program
About The Position
The Lansing School of Nursing and Clinical Sciences at Bellarmine University, specifically its Respiratory Therapy Department, may hire part-time instructors to teach students in undergraduate and graduate programs. Instructors teach didactic content in a classroom or online setting, monitor student progress, proctor exams and/or evaluate course assignments, and submit attendance and final course grades. The instructor collaborates with the course coordinator and reports directly to the department chair/associate dean to help ensure course objectives are met and support student success. The department chair/associate dean conducts a written evaluation at the conclusion of the assigned course. Visa sponsorship is not provided.
Requirements
- A master's or doctoral degree.
- Experience in the clinical specialty area.
- A license to practice as a professional respiratory therapist in Kentucky or Indiana.
Nice To Haves
- Prior teaching experience is preferred.
