About The Position

Stevens Institute of Technology invites applications for Part-Time Adjunct Instructor positions in Chemistry and Biology for the Fall 2026 semester. Reporting to the Academic Department Chair, the Adjunct Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and supporting the academic mission of the University. Opportunities are available to teach introductory undergraduate chemistry courses as well as graduate-level chemistry or biology courses in support of Stevens' master's and doctoral programs.

Requirements

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biology, or a closely related field.
• Prior teaching experience at the college or university level.
• Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in the applicable discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage course syllabus materials.
• Coordinate course content and curriculum with the Academic Department Chair.
• Deliver instruction for assigned courses.
• Evaluate student performance.
• Perform other related instructional duties as assigned.
