About The Position
The Department of English at West Virginia University is seeking applications for Part-time Adjunct Teaching Positions. The department has a need for instructors in areas including, but not limited to, English composition (English 101, 102, and 103). The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, which may be delivered in-person or online. Applications are accepted year-round and reviewed as openings become available. Compensation is determined on a per-course basis.
Requirements
- Master’s or doctoral degree in English or a closely related discipline.
- Evidence of effective teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level.
Responsibilities
- Teaching in-person or online courses in the Department of English’s undergraduate and graduate programs.
