About The Position

The Adjunct Instructor will be responsible for teaching courses in Sports Marketing and/or Sports Management. The Sports Management course will provide students with an overview of the field, covering its history, youth, community, and scholastic sport and recreation, industry opportunities, and professional and international sports. The Sports Marketing course will examine the strategic marketing aspects of sports, focusing on a contingency framework for strategic sports marketing, market selection, marketing mix decisions, and the implementation and control of the strategic sports marketing process. This is an in-person delivery position at the East Falls campus, requiring the candidate to be geographically located in or near Philadelphia due to intermittent on-campus presence. Applicants from New Jersey, Delaware, and Pennsylvania will be considered.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-2 year of teaching experience required
  • Professional experience in the industry
  • Geographically located in or near Philadelphia
