Drake University’s Zimpleman College of Business invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor to teach two sections of Operations Management during the Fall 2026 semester. Course Description: A study of the operations function of organizations, focusing on providing services and producing goods efficiently and effectively. Students learn how to analyze, measure, and improve work methods; make capacity decisions; manage waiting lines; and control the flow of materials along the supply chain. The course also discusses ethics and sustainability; monitoring and improving quality, allocating scarce resources and managing projects.

Requirements

  • Earned a graduate degree in business or a closely related field
  • Professional experience in operations management, supply chain, or a related field
  • Ability to teach two sections of an undergraduate course in-person on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons
