About The Position

The School of Liberal Arts and Sciences is seeking adjunct instructors to teach in the area of Physics. Responsibilities include instructing undergraduate level students in the classroom, holding regular office hours, and teaching classes as needed such as quantum mechanics, electricity and magnetism, modern physics, and physics lab. The School of Liberal Arts and Sciences faculty foster intellectual curiosity, open inquiry, critical thinking, the pursuit of knowledge, responsible civic engagement, and a deep understanding of the relationship of the Christian faith and reason. Requirements

  • Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate level course related credits
  • Demonstrated expertise in the discipline
  • Commitment to teaching excellence and service to the college, university, and community
  • Demonstrated Christian commitment and the ability to integrate faith into coursework

Nice To Haves

  • Ph.D. preferred
  • Prior collegiate-level teaching experience, preferred
