About The Position

The Department of Math and Physics invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach General Physics 1 this upcoming Fall semester 2026. The course, General Physics 1 (PHY2201), will meet on Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 9:45 AM to 11:00 AM and runs from August 31st to December 18th, 2026. Duties include delivering lectures in a classroom setting, administering exams, and grading students’ assignments.

Requirements

• Hold at least an MS in Physics, Mathematics or a related field.

Nice To Haves

• College-level teaching experience
• Experience utilizing learning management systems (i.e.- Canvas)
• Experience utilizing technology in the classroom

Responsibilities

• Delivering lectures in a classroom setting
• Administering exams
• Grading students’ assignments
