The Department of Math and Physics invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach General Physics 1 this upcoming Fall semester 2026. The meeting times and additional information are as follows: General Physics 1 (PHY2201) Monday/Wednesday/Friday 9:45 AM - 11:00 AM. This course runs August 31st to December 18th, 2026. Duties include delivering lectures in a classroom setting, administering exams, and grading students’ assignments. General Physics 1 (PHY2201) is the first semester of a one-year introduction to physics, without calculus. Topics normally include vectors, kinematics, Newton’s laws of motion, work and energy, momentum, torque, statics, and circular and rotational motion.
