About The Position
This is a part-time Adjunct teaching position in the Department of Integrated Environmental Science/ Natural Sciences at Bethune-Cookman University. Successful candidates will be expected to teach at the undergraduate and/or graduate level in Integrated Environmental Science.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or a PhD in environmental science, ecology, earth science, or a closely related discipline.
- Strong commitment to teaching at a liberal arts school.
- Evidence of successful teaching at the college level.
- Prepared to affirm and support the Christian and liberal arts mission of Bethune-Cookman University.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree or a Ph.D. degree in environmental science, ecology, earth science, or a closely related field.
- Experience in environmental systems, field ecology, environmental policy, GIS and remote sensing, and environmental chemistry.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (Canvas, Blackboard, etc.).
- Experience with field-based instruction and data collection.
