About The Position

Brandeis University’s Online Industrial Organizational Psychology Program is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member for RIOP 130 Program Evaluation and Impact Assessment for the Fall 2 1 2026 session. This 3-credit asynchronous online course is an 8-week requirement for the Master of Science in Industrial Organizational Psychology. This course will consist of using methods for evaluating organizational programs and interventions: experimental and quasi‑experimental designs, mixed methods, ROI and cost‑benefit analysis, and effective reporting to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree (Master’s, Ph.D. or PsyD) in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Organizational Science/Behavior, Organizational Effectiveness, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Instructional Design, or a related field.
  • Professional experience within diverse industries or sectors, with a focus on organizational development/effectiveness, organizational or personnel research, HR/workplace analytics, HR business partnering / strategy development, HR program management, management consulting or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of methods used to conduct research in organizational settings, design evaluations that estimate causal impact and quantify program effectiveness, compute and interpret correlations, effect sizes, ROI, and practical significance of results, and communicate evaluation findings to technical and executive audiences.
  • At least 1 year of teaching or training experience (preferably online/asynchronous).
  • Experience with online instruction.
  • Excellent communication and teaching skills in an online learning environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior online teaching experience at the graduate level.
  • Familiarity with online education platforms and course development tools.

Responsibilities

  • Promotion of respectful online "netiquette".
  • Ensuring the course meets accessibility and technical visibility standards before and during the term.
