About The Position
The Division of Fine and Performing Arts at Methodist University seeks Adjunct Instructors in Art and Graphic Design. Courses and topics may include: Graphic Design Studio Typography Interactive Design Language of Art Business and Marketing in Art Photographic Media Art History and Theory Foundations: Drawing and Painting Applications Qualified candidates are invited to submit a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, three references, and a 1–2-page Teaching Philosophy. Candidates are also invited to submit a link to a portfolio or example works.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Art or Graphic Design
- Experience teaching in any of the above areas
- Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite programs – specifically, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
Nice To Haves
- Graphic design and photography teaching experience
- Industry experience
