About The Position

Lakeland University, a liberal arts institution, seeks qualified adjunct instructors to teach multiple online asynchronous courses in Hospitality beginning in the fall, 2026 term and beyond. Examples of Classes include HSP 211: Introduction to Hospitality and HSP 312: Facilities Planning & Management. The university offers various term lengths, including 12-week and 7-week options.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Business Management or a relevant field.
  • Relevant experience.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and maintain work authorization throughout the employment term.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate courses in Hospitality.
  • Work with full-time faculty and deans to understand and employ activities that meet course learning objectives.
  • Administer and/or develop coursework (assignments, projects, in-class learning activities, exams) that meets and assesses course learning objectives.
  • Respond in a timely manner to calls or emails from students, colleagues, or supervisors.
  • Use university technology as directed.
