Adjunct Instructor - Dual Credit

About The Position
This position is part of the teaching faculty within the various instructional areas for which KC offers dual credit courses to high school students. Courses will be taught in various formats (in-person, on-line, hybrid, or multi-modal) on the KC campuses in Kilgore or Longview or at various high school locations.
Requirements
- For academic transfer courses, a masters degree or higher and a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the subject area.
- For career and technical education courses, various qualifications will be considered, such as degree earned and work experience.
- Must live in the State of Texas.
- Required to submit official transcripts upon an offer of employment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be able to physically present to work on the Kilgore, TX or Longview, TX Campus.
Responsibilities
- Teaching one or more courses
- Assisting students
- Developing appropriate course syllabi
- Checking and responding to KC email daily
- Submitting various documentation in a timely manner
- Fulfilling other responsibilities as needed
