About The Position
Jamestown Community College (JCC), a SUNY institution, is seeking potential part-time openings for Computer Science and Information Technology adjunct instructors for upcoming semesters (fall, spring, summer). Instruction may be on the Jamestown campus or online. Class times and course coverage needs will vary each semester. This is a pool posting, and applications are accepted on an ongoing basis, with applicants contacted as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a computer-related discipline (computer science, computer technology, information technology) or business.
- Coursework beyond the introductory level in microcomputer applications, programming, webpage development, computer networks, and/or hardware and system software.
- Generic applications that do not reference Jamestown Community College specifically will not be considered.
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree in a computer-related discipline.
- Experience in teaching.
- Experience working in a computer-related field.
Responsibilities
- Teach Computer Science and Information Technology courses.
- Provide instruction on the Jamestown campus and/or online.
- Adapt to varying class times and course coverage needs each semester.
