(Pool) Adjunct Instructor - Chemistry

About The Position
Wilson Community College is seeking to expand its pool of part-time/adjunct faculty for potential future openings in clinical or class instruction. These positions may or may not be available at this time. Applicants will be contacted in the future based on their qualifications. The role involves providing quality, effective instruction in assigned courses on a part-time, temporary basis. Only qualified, credentialed applicants will be considered. The Adjunct/Part-time Instructor will teach a variety of chemistry courses, including organic, biochemistry, and general chemistry.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in chemistry or a master’s degree and at least 18 graduate hours in chemistry.
Nice To Haves
- Three to five years of teaching experience.
- Experience with online instruction.
- Experience with Moodle.
Responsibilities
- Teach assigned online, day, and/or evening classes.
- Maintain and submit accurate attendance.
- Maintain accurate academic records, such as syllabi and grades.
- Submit required forms and documents in a timely manner.
- Maintain consistent communication with students and supervisor.
