About The Position
Jamestown Community College (JCC), a SUNY institution, is seeking to fill potential part-time openings for Chemistry adjunct instructors for upcoming semesters (fall, spring, summer) on the Jamestown campus. Class time and course coverage needs will vary from semester to semester. The college is an innovative, open access institution that meets regional education needs by providing transfer degree programs, career programs, community service, developmental education, and training programs for business and industry. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in biology/chemistry or a closely related discipline.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree (or higher) in biology/chemistry or a closely related discipline.
- Additional degrees in a related field may be considered when a candidate possesses relevant teaching experience.
- College level or AP high-school level teaching experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach chemistry courses as needed for upcoming semesters.
- Provide instruction on the Jamestown campus.
