About The Position

Penn State Lehigh Valley, Academic Affairs has a need for a highly qualified part-time faculty to teach a variety of courses in Biology, including but not limited to Anatomy and Physiology lecture and laboratory and General Biology lecture and laboratory. For Fall 2026, the selected candidate(s) will teach introductory A&P course, both lecture and laboratory. The ideal candidates should be open to offering flexibility in course scheduling and methods of course delivery; however, this position is required to be taught in-person.

Requirements

• Minimum of an earned Master's degree in Biology or a closely-related field.
• Must be able to teach in-person.
• Successful completion of background checks in accordance with University policy.
• PA State Police Criminal Background Check
• PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form
• Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check

Nice To Haves

• PhD preferred.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the college level.
• Open to offering flexibility in course scheduling and methods of course delivery.
