About The Position

The School of Teacher Education at the University of Northern Colorado invites applications for part-time supervisor positions as we build our capacity to offer quality instruction to all students. Part-time supervisors hired will become vital members of the School’s nationally recognized teacher preparation programs, committed to the preparation of culturally responsive education. These positions are filled semester by semester based on the needs of different programs.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant and appropriate area is required.

Nice To Haves

  • P-6 teaching experience
  • Supervision experience
  • Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively in school settings
  • Knowledge of teaching best practices and Colorado State Standards
  • Ability to provide excellent classroom knowledge
  • Ability to serve as a positive model of leadership in P-6 Education

Responsibilities

  • Supervise undergraduate Early Childhood/Elementary student teachers and practicum students.
  • Provide quality instruction and guidance to students.
  • Contribute to the School's nationally recognized teacher preparation programs.
  • Prepare culturally responsive educators.
