Adjunct Heavy Equipment Repair Instructor
About The Position
Oakland Community College (OCC) is seeking Adjunct Faculty Instructors to teach Heavy Equipment Repair courses. OCC is a student-centered community college serving over 12,000 students across multiple campuses in Oakland County, Michigan. Adjunct instructors are expected to utilize modern technology in the classroom. Applications are accepted continuously for an as-needed hiring basis throughout the academic year, dependent on enrollment. Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years recent and relevant experience in the heavy equipment industry OR Bachelor's Degree in Heavy Equipment Service Engineering Technology, Heavy Equipment Maintenance, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, or an industry-related field and a minimum of two (2) years of relevant industry experience OR Associate's Degree in Heavy Equipment Repair with three (3) years relevant experience.

- Experience with multi-cultural students and staff preferred.

Responsibilities
- Teach day and/or evening Heavy Equipment Repair courses, ranging from basic to advanced skill levels.
- Maintain and/or provide licensure and certifications where applicable.
