Adjunct Finance Instructor
About The Position
The Department of Finance at The Pennsylvania State University (University Park) seeks to hire adjunct instructors to teach finance courses in the spring 2027 semester. The positions are part-time, limited term, non-tenure track positions with teaching between January and May 2027. The appointments may be renewed based on department need. Teaching responsibilities will be predominantly at the undergraduate level and are onsite. We seek candidates dedicated to delivering excellent teaching of rigorous courses that incorporate the responsible use of AI. We seek individuals who will work effectively with our talented faculty and students and contribute to our vibrant and collegial environment.
Requirements
- Ph.D, MBA, or a master’s degree in finance or a closely related field at the time of hiring.
Responsibilities
- Teach finance courses, predominantly at the undergraduate level.
- Incorporate the responsible use of AI in teaching rigorous courses.
- Work effectively with faculty and students.
- Contribute to a vibrant and collegial environment.
