About The Position

The Department of Finance at The Pennsylvania State University (University Park) seeks to hire adjunct instructors to teach finance courses in the spring 2027 semester. These are part-time, limited term, non-tenure track positions with teaching duties from January to May 2027. Appointments may be renewed based on department need. Teaching responsibilities will be predominantly at the undergraduate level and are onsite. The department seeks candidates dedicated to delivering excellent teaching of rigorous courses that incorporate the responsible use of AI, and who will work effectively with faculty and students to contribute to a vibrant and collegial environment.

Requirements

• Ph.D, MBA, or a master’s degree in finance or a closely related field at the time of hiring.

Responsibilities

• Teach finance courses, predominantly at the undergraduate level.
• Deliver rigorous courses that incorporate the responsible use of AI.
• Work effectively with faculty and students.
• Contribute to a vibrant and collegial environment.
