Adjunct Opportunities - Fashion Design
About The Position
Bergen Community College is seeking adjunct faculty for its Fashion Program for Fall and Winter 2026. The Fashion Department, part of the Visual Arts Department, aims to provide students with instruction, experience, and encouragement in visual art and the study of art history and visual culture. Courses are taught by active professionals in their fields, imparting current information and techniques. The Visual Arts Department is equipped with state-of-the-art studios. The Associate of Applied Science degree (A.A.S.) in Fashion Apparel Design prepares students for transfer to a four-year institution or for careers in the fashion design and apparel industries as designers, technical designers, and stylists. The program offers concentrated options in fashion.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of fashion design industry experience.
- A BFA in the field of discipline.
- Provide samples of work.
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree is preferred.

- Teach within the AAS Fashion Apparel Design program.

- Adjunct rates range from $922 to $960 per credit.
