About The Position

The College of Natural Sciences at Grand Canyon University (GCU) is seeking passionate and engaging faculty to teach part-time, face-to-face instruction in Anatomy and Physiology for Science Majors II Lab for the Spring 2027 Semester. This role involves facilitating classroom lectures and discussions, engaging students in learning course objectives, assessing student performance, and mentoring student success. Adjunct faculty are expected to provide a positive example by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission. GCU offers modern facilities and smaller class sizes, providing a rewarding teaching experience.

Requirements

  • Master's in any field with 18 graduate credit hours in Biology emphasizing anatomy or physiology
  • Attach unofficial transcript reflecting degree earned with 18 graduate credit hours in the areas listed above
  • Attach unofficial transcripts for any applicable conferred graduate degrees

Nice To Haves

  • Doctorate in a Biological Science with emphasis in anatomy OR physiology
