About The Position
Grand Canyon University is seeking adjunct faculty to teach online for its Colangelo College of Business. This role involves facilitating online discussions, adhering to grading deadlines, responding to student inquiries, and upholding the university's values. The specific course is Financial Planning Capstone, which synthesizes concepts from the financial planning program through case studies, focusing on integration and application of knowledge in core financial planning domains. Students will gain experience in the financial planning process, client biases, behavioral finance, professional standards, ethics, and communication. Requirements
- Master’s in Financial Planning, Financial Services, Finance, or related field
- CFP(R) certification

Responsibilities
- Facilitate weekly main discussion forums to engage students in the online classroom
- Adhere to weekly grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframes
- Respond to students’ questions and emails within the established timeframes
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University
