They respond to student inquiries, provide feedback, submit final grades within expected timeframes, monitor learner engagement, reach out proactively to at-risk students, and collaborate with student success coaches, academic staff, and portfolio directors. Faculty also participate in the UMGC faculty community, including the Program Hub and ongoing training. Applicants must have a terminal degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field from an accredited institution, as well as 3–5 years of professional experience in Data Analytics, Data Science, or Artificial Intelligence. Applicants must have and be able to maintain their own legal status in the country where they apply to teach. Compensation is listed by academic rank and degree, ranging from $806 to $1,645 per credit hour across the stated steps and categories.
