About The Position

Daemen University is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to teach ABA 612: Organizational Behavior Management in their ABA MS and Advanced Certificate graduate programs. This course provides an overview of current research and practice in Organizational Behavior Management (OBM), a subspecialty of behavior analysis that applies scientific principles to workplace concerns like training, safety, productivity, and quality. Students will also learn effective leadership and supervision methods. The role involves teaching in an in-person/HyFlex modality and communicating with a diverse student population. The mission of Daemen University is to prepare students for life and leadership in an increasingly complex world.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Behavior Analysis or related field.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in NY in good standing.
  • At least 3-5 years of full-time Clinical Practice.

Nice To Haves

  • PhD in Behavior Analysis or related field.
  • Teaching experience in behavior-analytic graduate programs.
  • Expertise in clinical application across multiple areas of behavior analysis.
  • Expertise with multiple learner characteristics.
  • Ability to develop effective behavior-analytic programs for people in need of services.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching in the ABA MS and Advanced Certificate graduate programs in the in-person/HyFlex modality.
  • Communicating effectively with a diverse population of students.
  • Providing an overview of current research and practice in the field of Organizational Behavior Management (OBM).
  • Teaching students to identify effective leadership and supervision methods for the workplace or their professional practice.
