About The Position
The College of Education at Texas A&M International University seeks to establish a pool of qualified applicants for future, part-time Adjunct Faculty appointments in Special Education Graduate Level. Successful applicants may teach up to seven (7) semester credit hours online within the required discipline as dictated by student demand, hold virtual office hours, and assist students as needed. These temporary appointments are for the Fall 2026 semester and/or any applicable Fall 2026 Sub-terms.
Requirements
- An earned doctorate in Special Education.
- Three years of EC-12 teaching experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally with the general public.
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work under stress and with pressing timelines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Nice To Haves
- Previous teaching experience at the collegiate level.
- Experience with online course delivery.
Responsibilities
- Teach up to seven (7) semester credit hours online within the required discipline.
