Introduction to Robotics & Lab – Adjunct Faculty – Phoenix, AZ Traditional Campus - (Fall 2026) – College of Engineering and Technology
About The Position
The College of Engineering and Technology at Grand Canyon University (GCU) is seeking passionate and engaging faculty to teach part-time, face-to-face instruction at its Phoenix campus for the Fall 2026 semester. This role involves facilitating classroom lectures, engaging students in learning course objectives, assessing student performance, and mentoring students. Adjunct faculty are expected to provide a positive example by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission. The course, Introduction to Robotics & Lab, covers the basics of robotic design using concepts from computer, electrical, and mechanical engineering, including dynamic systems modeling, sensors and actuators, hardware interfacing, and control algorithms. It is a team and project-based course focused on designing and testing multiple robots.
Requirements
- MS in Robotics Engineering or MS in Mechanical Engineering
- Attach unofficial transcript reflecting degree earned with 18 graduate credit hours in the areas listed above
- Attach unofficial transcripts for any applicable conferred graduate degrees
