About The Position
This part-time, temporary position provides dual-credit Government instruction at a high school campus within an Independent School District affiliated with San Antonio College. Applicants must be teachers with the designated affiliated ISD. Teaching faculty are professional educators whose primary responsibility is to support the District’s mission of providing quality education to college students. Faculty serve as leaders, teachers, advisors, and facilitators of learning; uphold the colleges’ mission and values; and foster effective working relationships with students and colleagues. Faculty members are responsible to a department or program chairperson. To receive consideration, applicants must upload transcripts along with a resume or CV, submitting transcripts under “Other Documents” in Section 2 of the applicant profile. Hours per week vary, and evening and weekend work may be required. Entry pay depends on education level. This position is not eligible for benefits.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in the teaching discipline, or a master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline.
- Must be a teacher with the designated Independent School District affiliated with San Antonio College.
