Adjunct Faculty, Computer and Information Science Program - SP27
About The Position
College of DuPage is seeking adjunct faculty to teach in its Computer and Information Science Program. Faculty support student success and meet the educational needs of a unique, multicultural campus. The successful candidate will be committed to teaching in a multicultural environment and working with students with diverse learning abilities. Teaching assignments may have flexible schedules, including days, evenings, and weekends. Adjunct faculty plan and deliver courses in classroom, lab, or clinical settings. Courses may be offered face-to-face, online, hybrid, or in blended formats. Instructors evaluate students and submit required instructional paperwork accurately and on time. Positions are paid by stipends for course assignments. A pre-employment background check, at the College's expense, is required.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in the field and/or a combination of education, training, and tested experience is required.
- Access to personal technology, including a home computer with appropriate capability to teach online, is required.
- A pre-employment background check is required.

- Experience in online or virtual teaching.
