Adjunct Faculty - Welding
About The Position
Southcentral Kentucky Community & Technical College is seeking qualified adjunct instructors to provide online, classroom, and hands-on laboratory instruction in Welding Technology. Instructional areas may include Oxy-Fuel Systems, Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW). The posting remains open to establish an ongoing pool of qualified adjunct instructors, with positions filled as instructional needs arise. The instructor evaluates and supervises students and collaborates with faculty and staff. Instruction is organized in classrooms and laboratories according to course outlines, learning objectives, competency assessments, and available instructional materials, including textbooks, instruction sheets, and electronic resources. The instructor prepares curriculum, handouts, lectures, laboratory exercises, and presentations before scheduled classes and demonstrates current knowledge required by the welding industry curriculum.
Requirements
- Associate degree and related work experience.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and supervise students.

- Develop course curriculum, handouts, lectures, laboratory exercises, and presentations before scheduled course times.
- Demonstrate current knowledge required by the welding industry curriculum.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to provide education and supervision to students.
