Stanbridge University is seeking adjunct Vocational Nursing faculty to teach and mentor students across its campuses and specialty areas. This ongoing opportunity supports current and future instructional needs. Assignments are based on clinical expertise, program needs, and faculty availability. The role delivers instruction through theory, hands-on skills development, and supervised clinical practice to prepare students for safe, competent, compassionate entry-level nursing practice. Faculty comfortable teaching in classroom, skills laboratory, and clinical environments are strongly preferred; candidates with experience in at least two of those settings will be considered. Instructional needs include Vocational Nursing Fundamentals, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Obstetrics (Maternal–Newborn Nursing), Pediatrics, and Mental Health / Psychiatric Nursing. Each specialty requires at least one year of clinical nursing experience in the applicable content area within the past five years, documented and verifiable under institutional, regulatory, and accreditation standards. Instruction may take place in classrooms, skills laboratories, acute care hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, long-term care facilities, and other approved clinical sites. Faculty may indicate preferred campus locations, subject to availability. The position is based in a standard classroom, laboratory, or clinical setting. Duties may take place at a desk, in labs, or in clinical environments, with frequent interruptions, noise, and demanding timelines. A job-related assessment may be required during the interview process. Employees must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily and be physically present in the office unless otherwise noted. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; the university does not provide employment-based immigration sponsorship. Employment offers are contingent on a successful background check, and official transcripts are required before hire. Employment verification will be conducted to validate work experience. Degrees earned outside the United States must be evaluated by a recognized credential evaluation service for U.S. equivalency and applicable subject-area coursework. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
