Responsibilities

  • Serve as an adjunct faculty member for the Graduate Nursing program.
  • Teach up to 9 semester credit hours per semester.
  • Teach the fully online and synchronous course: TRHS 561 - The Biology of Trauma and Fostering Resilience.
  • Focus the course content on how trauma and unregulated stress affect the brain and health, including brain anatomy, function, regulation, and hormonal control.
  • Explore illnesses linked to trauma and unregulated stress.
  • Connect course awareness to students' areas of practice and experience to foster resilience in those they care for and for themselves.
  • Mentor students in your area of expertise.
