About The Position

Adjunct Faculty position in the Language & Literature Department/Program, specifically for the Spanish and Hispanic Studies Program. This role involves in-person teaching of undergraduate courses, including SPAN 110 Elementary Spanish I. The appointment is for the Fall semester, with classes beginning September 1, 2026. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a field relevant to the course(s) taught.
  • Teaching experience at the College level.
  • Experience working with students from diverse social, cultural, and economic backgrounds.
  • Familiarity with Moodle or other LMSs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an adjunct faculty member for the Spanish and Hispanic Studies Program.
  • In-person teaching of undergraduate courses.
  • Teach SPAN 110 Elementary Spanish I.
  • Ensuring appropriate curriculum design, implementation, and assessment of the course.
