About The Position

Provides a quality learning experience for students on a semester basis. Performs instruction and clinical-related duties and responsibilities in a timely manner and in accordance with the mission, policies, and procedures of Cabarrus College of Health Sciences. The role requires in-person teaching and includes instruction in class, clinical, or laboratory settings, as applicable.

Requirements

• Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the discipline.
• Current unrestricted valid license, certification, and/or registration issued by the appropriate administrative body.
• Position requires in-person teaching.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of two years of post-secondary teaching experience and/or clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Implements current, traditional, and innovative teaching methodologies to help learners meet course learning outcomes.
• Participates in comprehensive evaluations of courses, students, program curriculum, and clinical units.
• Completes end-of-term responsibilities as directed, including submitting exam copies, attendance records, and other designated materials to the Program Chair.
• Makes oneself available for individual student conferences or instruction based on students’ learning needs and serves as a resource to colleagues.
• Maintains proficiency in learner-centered instruction through distance-delivery mechanisms.
• Participates in developing syllabi and courses with the Program Chair.
